Trying to make money by betting on football in Brazil

Brazilian law only considers games administered by Caixa, in addition to betting on horse races in the jockey. Any other bet not regulated by the state bank is considered an infraction.

The ease, however, does not mean that online betting on sports exchanges does not bring risks to hunters. In addition to the normal and predictable danger (of making a guess and losing all capital), there is also the threat of default.

In the 13th round of the Brazilian Championship last year, for example, eight of the ten games ended up with visitors as winners. This almost broke the bank of some bookmakers who failed to honor their payments.

In other words, in practice, companies cannot yet operate in Brazil. "The activity is no longer a criminal offense, but it will only work through a public concession. Many, however, already circumvent the rules and create ways to relate to the consumer, including via TV advertising. But instead of advertising bets, they talk about "hunches".
